Voices Against Violence is dedicated to raising awareness, educating communities, and advocating for the prevention of domestic and interpersonal violence. Through community outreach, partnerships, and empowering conversations, we strive to amplify survivor voices, promote healthy relationships, and inspire lasting change through compassion, education, and action.

Our vision is a world where every individual feels safe, supported, and empowered to live free from violence — and where communities come together to break cycles of abuse through awareness, prevention, and advocacy.
Our Story
Founded in 2024 by Megan Dems, Voices Against Violence was created to raise awareness, educate communities, and advocate for the prevention of domestic and interpersonal violence. Through advocacy, outreach, and community engagement, the organization works to amplify survivor voices, promote healthy relationships, and inspire meaningful change.
Voices Against Violence proudly supports and partners with organizations including Vera House, the New York State Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence, and the New York State Coalition Against Domestic Violence to further its mission of education, prevention, and empowerment.
At its core, Voices Against Violence believes every voice deserves to be heard and every person deserves to live free from violence.
